What's Productivity All About?

1 min read

When you're a "productivity geek", you may lose your way in the process.

You focus your life on achieving goals, trying to perform every day at your highest level. No exception at all.

That approach is what turns productivity into "toxic productivity".

You begin to feel guilty if you don't achieve what you want when you want.

That's not what productivity is all about.

Productivity is about "avoiding stressing out while moving towards your goals".

If you're trying your best every day, you should feel proud of yourself.

You're not a machine. You're a human being who tries to show up every day the best way you can.

It's unfair to say (or feel) you're unproductive by doing so. It's more than enough.

I do agree with Robin S. Sharma when he says that "productivity is less about what you do with your time. And more about how you run your mind."

If what you're doing makes sense to you, it doesn't matter what the result is.

You're living a life of fulfillment and even glory.

There's nothing better in life than feeling you're doing what you have decided to do after a deep analysis.

Forget about outcomes, results, deadlines, and so forth. You know you're doing what you want, and you're always trying your best.

There'll be better days and worse days, but, in the end, everything makes sense.

And that's what life is all about.
